In today’s episode of “be persistent “ and “learning things”…. Don’t use space heaters. Now, I know we’ve heard not to plug them into extension cords and not to leave them unattended (Thank the Lord we didn’t) but today we learned just don’t use them at all unless you have dedicated outlet directly from the breaker box with nothing else on it. We had our space heater plugged in and were In the same room while it slowly melted this outlet. Thankfully we decided to leave and when we went into a different room the smell was strong. We unplugged it to find the plug melting into the outlet and it was HOT. We turned the breaker off and called a local electrician where we left a message then texted them a photo as well. We never received a call back. We turned the breaker back on eventually and it continued to warm up so we kept it off. I waited until the next day and called A-Abel Family of Companies and they answered immediately. When I told them what had happened they sent a tech out the same day. They also sent a photo and a bio about the Jeremy the technician so I would “know him” when he showed up. He was fantastic, friendly, and showed us the problem and explained why it happened and what would’ve happened eventually if left alone. I’m very thankful that we only had to replace an outlet

Very reliable, responsive, professional, and easy to work with. They replaced my water heater a few years ago and I was very happy with the entire process. Presently, my furnace quit working, and I requested service online late at night. They were at my house the next morning. I was hoping for an easy fix, but I knew my furnace was pretty old and the day was coming that it would need replaced. They made the process as pain-free as possible. Everyone that came out (Jason, Jimmy, Alex, and Robert) were all very patient, knowledgeable, efficient, and answered any questions I had.

They installed an EV level 2 charger outlet (14-50, 50 Amp), plus an outlet for a freezer. From the appraisal to the installation, everything was awesome--very positive w/ a can do attitude and fast/efficient. Their bid was $2,100 less than another company's bid! The electricians who installed it clearly knew what they were doing. I thought it would be an all day affair they were done w/in a few hours. My Tesla Model Y is charging right now, at 40 Amps. I've found my go-to electric company.

This company has done multiple projects at our house. They are always reliable professional and very careful of your property not to damage anything. They do a great clean up job. There work is amazing. I would recommend using this company for any project They provide They don't over bid the job and they do everything correctly that they are here to do. Kudos to a Abel thank you very everything.

I called A-Abel for an electrical issue I was experiencing. Mark B. was my technician and he provided excellent service! He has a warm personality and demeanor. He was able to locate the issue and fix it with great care in not demolishing my home and cleaned up the debris. He also fixed a few loose switches! What an amazing experience!

Mark was friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through everything they were going to do and explained why it was needed and how it worked. He and his team were quick and efficient. They did everything as promised for the quoted price. There was great communication, letting me know when they would be there. I thoroughly trust this company and their kind and skilled employees.

I had a few outlets on a circuit not working. Chris came out to diagnosis and fix the issue. I got a call about 20 minutes before and he was here right on time. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Was able to figure out the problem and fix it within an hour. I did not price shop but had no complaints with the final cost. Will be using A-Abel for future electrical needs.
